The math you’re working with
On a 50 SOL account you need +15 SOL realized. Your hard floor is 40 SOL, your daily loss budget is 5 SOL, and one coin can be at most 7.5 SOL. That’s a 1.5 : 1 ratio of target to max loss — you can afford to be wrong, but not big.
Nine rules that pass challenges
- Risk a fixed slice per trade. 1–2% of the account per idea gives you dozens of attempts before the floor. See position sizing.
- Set your own daily stop at half the limit. Stop at −5% on a day, not −10%.
- Size to the pool. A trade can use at most 2% of pool SOL, and impact grows fast before that.
- Take profit in pieces. Only realized PnL counts; sell a portion into every leg up.
- Never hold through your floor. Equity is checked every 30 seconds — a dump while you sleep still counts.
- Spread your profit over days. Best day ≤ 50% of total profit. Two or three solid days beat one moonshot.
- Trade liquid coins. Thin pools cost you 0.75% fees plus impact both ways.
- Don’t chase a recovery. After a big red day, trade smaller, not bigger.
- Log every trade. Your dashboard keeps fills; review them weekly.
A sample pace
On 50 SOL, four +3 SOL days and three +1.5 SOL days, minus a couple of −0.75 SOL red days, adds up to +15 SOL over a week or two — and the best day is only 20% of the total, well under the 50% consistency limit. Slow is fine — there is no time limit.
