Price impact
Most Solana memecoin pools use a constant-product curve: SOL reserve × token reserve = constant. When you buy, you add SOL and remove tokens, which pushes the price up as you fill. Bigger buys relative to the pool = worse average price.
Example: a pool with 100 SOL. Buying with 1 SOL gives you an average price roughly 1% above spot; buying with 10 SOL, roughly 10% above. Selling works the same in reverse.
Slippage
Slippage is the price moving between when you click and when your transaction lands — other buyers and sellers get in first. Slippage tolerance is the worst price you’ll accept.
Fees
On-chain you pay pool fees, router fees and priority fees. Memecoin Funded models this with a flat 0.75% swap fee and 0.001 SOL priority fee per fill — so a round trip costs about 1.5% plus impact both ways.
Why this matters for funded accounts
A prop firm that ignores impact lets you pass on trades that couldn’t happen, and then has a reason to deny your payout. Memecoin Funded prices every fill on the live pool, so a pass is a real pass. Read how our memecoin prop firm works.
Questions people ask
What is price impact?
The change in price your own trade causes in an AMM pool. It grows with trade size relative to pool liquidity.
What is the difference between slippage and price impact?
